Golden HSE — A Chance to Show your Appreciation to Colleagues and Students
HSE is beginning to nominate candidates for the annual university prize Golden HSE. All staff, including international faculty are invited to nominate their favourite candidate. HSE Academic Secretary Natalia Savelieva explains why you should seize this opportunity to show appreciation for your colleagues.
For many years now HSE has celebrated its birthday by honouring the best teachers, students, administrators and researchers. The Golden HSE award was created especially for this occasion.
We have many staff incentives — bonuses, increased bursaries, certificates of honour and gratitude — but the Golden HSE is the most serious expression of respect for colleagues students and alumni, and its laureates are the most highly regarded people in the university.
We work alongside remarkable people but sometimes we don’t know how to express our gratitude for their personal involvement, graft, sheer professionalism and dedication. Golden HSE allows us to spend one evening a year thanking them.
It’s up to us to decide who deserves this thanks. All year you have watched one of your colleagues working, rejoiced in the successes of your students and thought how nice it would be to tell the whole university about them. Well, here’s your opportunity.
Remember there are 21,000 students at HSE, 2,500 teachers, 800 researchers, 1,500 administrators and 160 experts. In such an enormous family (and HSE is a family) it’s easy not to notice someone’s hard work and achievements. Let’s not let that happen. Let’s tell everyone what amazing colleagues, students and alumni we have.
International staff and students can suggest candidates and submit their proposal in English on the website by contacting Natalia Savelieva +7(495) 628-91-24; nsavelieva@hse.ru
The nominations are for:
- Achievements in research,
- Contribution to the development of HSE,
- Kindness and personal involvement,
- Achievements in teaching
- Alumni success in academic activity
- Silver nestling
