April Conference: Call for Proposals

On  April 10-13, 2018  in Moscow, National Research University Higher School of Economics (HSE), with the support of the World Bank,will be holding the19th April International Academic Conference on Economic and Social Development.

The Conference’s Programme Committee is chaired by Professor EvgenyYasin, HSE Academic Supervisor. The Conference offers a diverse agenda concerning social and economic development in the Russian Federation. The list of topics is available on the Conference website.

The plenary sessions and roundtable discussionswill focus on the following key topics:

  • Economic Stability and Growth;
  • Inequality and Inclusive Development;
  • Perspectives and Drivers of Globalization and Regionalization;
  • The Fourth Industrial Revolution;
  • The Arctic: Challenges of the 21st Century.
  • Technological Future: Towards a Smart Society

Participants are invited to submit extended abstracts of their papers for presentation at the Conference’s sessions. Proposals must be submitted through HSE’s online system at http://conf.hse.ru from September 11 until November 13, 2017. The Programme Committee will send notifications on the acceptance of proposals by January 25, 2018, after considering the results of reviews made by independent experts. Papers included in the programme following expert reviews bythe Programme Committee’s members have the option of being published in leading Russian journals on such subjects as economics, sociology, management, public administration, etc.,which are cited in the Scopus and WoS databases
