Publication by Udara Peiris in ‘Economic Theory’

HSE would like to congratulate Udara Peiris, Assistant Professor at ICEF on having his article ‘Collateral and the Efficiency of Monetary Policy’ accepted for publication in the international peer-reviewed journal ‘Economic Theory’.  The article was coauthored by Alexandros Vardoulakis, Economist at the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System.

Karl Bruckmeier is an environmental sociologist and since 2011 he has been a professor at the Analysis of Social Institutions Department at the HSE Faculty of Social Sciences. Russia and Brazil: Studying Global Media Together

A group from Brazil’s Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais visited the HSE to participate in a seminar that was part of the ‘Russia-Brazil Major Sport Events: Social Commotion in Global Media’ joint project.The project was initiated by Assistant Professor Renira Gambarato of HSE’s Faculty of Communication, Media and Design and Adjunct Professor in Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais’s Faculty of Media, Geane Alzamora, and involves a group of six researchers from each university.

Before arriving at the HSE, he was Assistant Professor of Economics at CERGE-EI in Prague from 2006 to 2014. Professor Çelik’s research interests include industrial organization (with a focus on information disclosure, advertising, product differentiation and consumer search), international trade, and political economy.

Before arriving at the HSE, he was Assistant Professor of Economics at CERGE-EI in Prague from 2006 to 2014. Professor Çelik’s research interests include industrial organization (with a focus on information disclosure, advertising, product differentiation and consumer search), international trade, and political economy. He received a B.A. in Economics at Boğaziçi University in 2000, and an M.A. in 2002. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics, which he received at the University of Virginia in 2007.
