Jesse Campbell, Assistant Professor at the Department of Public and Local Service, speaks about his research interests: from philosophy to public administration

The Faculty of Computer Science is only one year old – it was founded March 28, 2014 – but it already has a rich history and ambitious plans. Ivan Arzhantsev, the dean of the Faculty of Computer Science, spoke to The HSE Look about highlights from the past year, current research focuses, and the faculty’s plans for the future.

Geoffrey Decrouez is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Computer Science at HSE. He told The HSE Look about his research and teaching at HSE. 

Belgian economist Jacques-Francois Thisse is Academic Supervisor at the Center for Market Studies and Spatial Economics at HSE in Saint Petersburg. The HSE Look welcomes aboard Nadia Moro, Assistant Professor at the School of Philosophy. Empiricism, epistemology and realism in the nineteenth-century science and philosophy (Herbart, Lotze, Helmholtz, Stumpf, Wundt), and music theory are among her scientific interests.

The 20th issue of The HSE Look is devoted to the Faculty of Humanities, another big department formed in the course of the university-wide structural reorganization, launched at HSE in December 2014. His programme for teaching English Exercise Maker won the FOI competition two years ago.
