Today, ICEF is proud to be academic home to over 20 international researchers with PhD degrees in economics, finance and social sciences, representing different countries and continents: Russia, Germany, France, Italy, Greece, Ukraine, Argentina, Australia, and India. In addition to the already intense studies, ICEF offers students a chance to gain even deeper knowledge of Economics and Finance. ICEF Research

Initially focused primarily on teaching, ICEF has been purposefully and consistently building a research community within its team since the start of international recruitment of PhD researchers in 2005. ICEF has a very vibrant research seminar, several research groups, and two laboratories. Alexis Belianin, ICEF Assistant Professor and Head of the Laboratory for Experimental and Behavioural Economics, and Carsten Sprenger, ICEF Assistant Professor, Head of the International Laboratory of Financial Economics, told The HSE Look readers about the achievements and plans of ICEF team in research.

Visiting Scholars at HSE - Call for Teaching Excellence open till June 1st

The HSE Look is happy to promote HSE Teaching Excellence programme which gives an opportunity to organize workshops for HSE teachers with colleagues with extensive teaching experience from universities abroad. Such visits aresupported by institutional funding through applications made by academic programmes.The call for applications from HSE degree programmes for HSE Teaching Excellence visits is open until June 1, 2017.

April Conference: Overview of 18 years

HSE bulletin Okna Rosta took an interview with Professor Andrei Yakovlev, Director of the HSE Institute for Industrial and Market Studies and member of the Programme Committee of the April Conference on Economic and Social Development, about the origins of the conference and how it changed and expanded over the years.  The HSE Look is glad to present the summarized translation of the interview to its readers.

Bridging Global Standards and Local Features - The HSE Look (October)

In its 29 th  issue The HSE Look presents the Faculty of Law through an interview with its Dean, Prof. Evgeny Salygin, as well as introduces new tenure-track international faculty. As usual, the issue provides short announcements about Visiting Scholars, and an interview with one of them – a Fulbright Distinguished Scholar in Sustainable Development, Prof. David Wirth.
