HSE Moves Closer to the City Centre
This year, many students and staff of HSE in Moscow will change the location of their study and work. Instead of some sites in districts on the outskirts of the sity, the university is using buildings in the centre. In addition to that, faculty departments which are now scattered in various parts of the city will move closer to each other. This will allow lecturers and students to spend less time commuting.

Health Day to Be Held at HSE

On April 7th, 2016, the Higher School of Economics will host a campaign timed to coincide with World Health Day. The event has been organized by HSE in cooperation with the Moscow Department of Healthcare.

In its 26th issue The HSE Look introduces the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs and HSE’s Massive open online courses (MOOCs), with two professors sharing their experience of preparing and running MOOCs. New Platform at HSE to Present Research by International Laboratories and Centres

HSE is launching a new platform to host popular science lectures for all students and staff. The new lecture series will unveil the results of the most recent research carried out by HSE’s laboratories and advanced research centres.

Applications for Database Access in 2017

The Joint Economic and Social Data Archive is accepting applications to organise access to databases essential for research and teaching in HSE departments in 2017. Applications will be accepted in all HSE disciplines (Sociology, Economics, Law, Politics, History, etc.)

From Post-Doc to Tenure-Track: First-Hand Experience

The HSE Look interviewed Michael Rochlitz about the experience of getting from a post-doc to tenure-track position, integration into HSE life and research plans. Michael, an Assistant Professor at the School of Political Science of the Faculty of Social Sciences, joined HSE in 2013 as a post-doc Research Fellow at the International Center for the Study of Institutions and Development (ICSID) of the Institute for Industrial and Market Studies.
