Nominations for the Golden HSE Award have started. The award has changed a lot since last year. There are some new nominations, and the nomination procedure is bit different. To make it easier for you, we’ve prepared a manual.
On Campus
Nominations of candidates for the Golden HSE Awards open on November 21, 2016. This year, the contest has undergone major changes. There are now more nominations, they are a little different, and there’s even a new prize!
Karelia, Mount Elbrus, Bulgaria, Georgia, Krasnaya Polyana, and Andorra - this winter the Extreme Sports Club invites students, alumni and HSE staff members to set off for winter adventures. While many of the events have already become solid HSE traditions, some of them are being held for the first time. The projects are supported by HSE Department of Physical Training.
As with every year, The HSE Look continues its tradition of welcoming newly recruited international faculty. Several of them have kindly provided a short summary about themselves. Everyone can be found on the HSE website should you need to learn more about your colleagues and are interested in discussing potential collaboration.
HSE students and staff are invited to try their hand at yachting under the supervision of experienced instructors. The HSE Yacht Club will be holding theoretical and practical classes during the winter.
In its 29th issue The HSE Look presents the Faculty of Law through an interview with its Dean, Prof. Evgeny Salygin, as well as introduces new tenure-track international faculty. As usual, the issue provides short announcements about Visiting Scholars, and an interview with one of them – a Fulbright Distinguished Scholar in Sustainable Development, Prof. David Wirth.
The HSE Printing House has been granted the right to provide commercial services for HSE students and staff, as well as for other individuals and organizations. Previously, it was only able to support HSE departments after receiving written requests from their heads. We are now pleased to invite everyone who needs printing, copying, binding, lamination, and other related services.
HSE Publishing House is now accepting applications from HSE staff for the publication of copyright books on a competitive basis.
Each year HSE welcomes new colleagues – Ph.D. holders from the world’s best universities – who join the university through the international recruiting programme. HSE continues the tradition of public lectures at HSE Day, and holds HSE Open Talks in English. Academics from all over the world representing the most diverse disciplines will discuss their research and talk with the public.
