The latest issue of the HSE LooK brings the Faculty of Mathematics  into the spotlight. The Dean of the Faculty, Professor  Sergei Lando, speaks about mathematical education in Russia then and now and gives his insights into the academic life of the mathematical collective. The editors also welcome aboard new colleagues with international backgrounds and give a short overview of changes that have occurred on HSE website, including new design of faculty profile pages.

A scholar of Modern European History, he has a book that will soon be published by Harvard University Press.
