New Year's special edition of The HSE LooK is now available for read and download! For this issue we have been gathering winter holiday traditions from around the world and many of our findings were kindly shared by international professors and postdocs. Today we present contributions from Germany and Italy.
We welcome aboard Matteo Feurra, who joined HSE in September 2014 as Assistant Professor at the School of Psychology, Faculty of Social Sciences. Dr. Feurra spoke to The HSE LooK about his research and work plans.
Each year, HSE holds a competition for the best teacher. For the first time, this year’s elections for the best teachers will be open to foreign students at HSE on academic exchange programmes. Elena Artyukhova and Svetlana Samsonova speak about how voting will be organized for foreign students.
On December 5, the Higher School of Economics hosted the Piano Evening for Two. The event lasted two hours, during which time Michel Grabisch, Professor of Computer Sciences at University Paris I Pantheon-Sorbonne, and Sergei Erofeev, Vice Rector of HSE, performed compositions by Chopin, Rachmaninoff, Brahms, Tchaikovsky, Debussy, Ravel and Bach.
